Scottsdale, Arizona – July 5, 2016 – American Spirit Arms firearms and manufacturing company announces that it has become a sponsor of Eric Thaanum for local, regional and national 3-Gun competitions.
American Spirit Arms, maker of precision, high quality AR15, AR10 and M4 rifles, and its new ownership group, is pleased to announce it has become a sponsor of Eric Thaanum for local, regional and national 3-Gun competitions.
“The American Spirit Arms AR15 is a superior quality platform and I appreciate the opportunity to utilize ASA’s weapons in 3-Gun competitions,” Eric said. Eric is a 30-year veteran of the U.S. Army with over 22 years in Army Special Forces. He has completed multiple Operational Deployments, as a Company Intelligence sergeant and ultimately he retired as a Sergeant First Class. Eric’s last two years were as training cadre for Group Operations Training Detachment providing Special Forces operators with advanced and specialized training across the Special Operations spectrum including sniping, Advanced Urban Combat, Special Operations Jumpmaster, Unconventional Warfare and Special Operations Command (SOC-P) Combatives. Eric also provided Host Nation soldiers and police in multiple countries with training tailored to fit existing requirements while maintaining careful consideration for language, culture and other unique parameters. Eric is an International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA) classified Master, and is currently a professional firearms instructor/range master for Aegis Academy (aegisacademy.com).
