Welcome to Tactical Pistol Training day six! This course provides you with an in-depth understanding of the reality of violent encounters at contact distance. You’ll learn how to manipulate your weapon while wounded and develop options that will maximize your chances of prevailing in even the worst possible scenarios. The day consists of contact distance drills, weak handed shooting, one handed manipulation, and an introduction to speed drills. This is the final step in placing the complete range tactical pistol skills in your toolkit!

Asia and a few other places I’ve been have a whole different perspective on inter-personal space, but here in America, if someone you don’t know is standing less than an arms distance away from you, they’re probably not there to do you any favors!

Before taking the class I considered myself a competent shooter with about seven or eight years of regular practice behind a pistol. After the class and a month’s worth of drills the improvement is like night and day! It’s one thing for an instructor with a 20 year operational pedigree to be able to shoot, it’s another when they can break it down and teach.”
