This is the introduction to practical carbine and rifle gun fighting skills. You will apply your carbine marksmanship fundamentals under a variety of scenarios that will enable to determine which skills are practical for you and which ones are not! On the range, you will be introduced to angles and distance, target discrimination, multiple target engagement techniques and start to shoot on the move! The functional ability to run the gun efficiently while accomplishing all the other tasks you need todo to be effective is today’s goal. Carbine shooting is just like any other self defense tool in the arsenal – the technical mechanics are only half the battle. The other half is how to make it work for you!

Prerequisite: Pistol Three

We begin the course with an introduction and review of the psychology of violence and how defensive skills play into influencing the prevalence of violent behavior in our society. On the range we put the efficient manipulation we developed in Carbine Two to the test engaging multiple target on line, in depth and at extended ranges. We work target discrimination and introduce shooting on the move. Our world class mentors will ensure you get individual feedback on how your doing and what you can do it improve your skills. You’ll leave with the confidence you can engage targets accurately and quickly with your weapon and know what to do to improve your shooting even more! Access to our professionally programmed practice drills is included with the course, and will be available online in our E-Learning Portal upon completion. A carbine is a great tool if you need stand off distance, have some land, etc… but if you live in an urban environment and don’t seriously dislike your neighbors, you probably need to take a hard look at how many walls that bullet is going to pass thorough before it stops.
